Basses Farm

Last weekend, we visited Basses Farm in Colgate. Marcus had his first pony ride, went on the train and fed some goats. Despite the chilly weather, we had a great time!

Life so far with 2 under 2

It's been about 12 weeks since Marshall was born. I go back to work on Friday and I have to say, I'm not dreading it. It was so nice to have the summer off. I got to spend more time with my sister who was home from college. I also got to spend some time with my friends that stay home/work PT. Best of all, I got to spend my entire days with my sons. As a mother to a toddler, it's great having the option to go to the park when he's going nuts cooped up in the house. It's actually become a daily activity. Marshall & I get a few days every week to ourselves thanks to my wonderful in-laws that baby sit Marcus. Mo & I are so lucky to have 2 healthy boys. Marcus is such a good brother to Marshall. We look forward to watching them grow up together.

Welcome Marshall William Robert!

I gave birth to Marshall 5 days early on July 13th. I started having contractions around 6pm and they mildly continued through out the night and into the morning. At 6am, I told Mo to pack his bag. We arrived at the hospital at 8am. I was still able to talk and walk through my contractions even though they were 4 minutes apart. I was really hoping we wouldn't be sent home for false labor. It turns out I was 6cm dilated! I pushed for about 40 minutes and Marshall was born at 1:19pm weighing in at 7lbs 15oz. He was 20.5" long. I have to say it was so much easier and less painful this time. Marcus was a pound heavier and looks like me. Marshall has his daddy's nose and is long & lean.

Summer Fun

We've been having an awesome summer. Marcus loves being outside, as most kids do. Here are just a few pics.

Homemade Avocado Club Eggrolls

Since we love these so much, I decided to make them for dinner. They turned out excellent and were very easy to make. Contents: -Egg roll wrapper -Chicken -Avocado -Shredded Cheese -Bacon -Salsa -Place all in egg roll wrapper, roll up & fry in oil.

34 weeks

I can't believe I'm six weeks away from meeting my new son. We're so excited to have a family of 4!

CPK

I had a craving for California Pizza Kitchen's avocado club egg rolls. Mo is always game when I get a craving so off we went to Bayshore. Marcus loves going out to eat as well. He loves people watching and making sour faces as he eats lemons & limes.

30 weeks & counting!

I'm 30 weeks pregnant today. Let the 10 week countdown begin! My doctor said I don't have to wait a day past my due date if I want to be induced. I would prefer it to happen naturally, but it's nice to know I have the option. I had Marcus 3 days late. He was quite large and my doctor informed this one will probably be bigger.

Cinco De Mayo

On Cinco De Mayo, we had a busy day. We started out the day with a 5K walk for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Afterwards, we had lunch at Cafe Benelux & made a stop at Milwaukee Public Market. We then headed over to the Kelley's to celebrate Mo's friend Mike's birthday. Marcus had a blast playing with his sons, Zach & Brandon.

Marcus' 1st Haircut

Marcus had his first actual haircut today. I was brave enough to cut his bangs twice before, but I don't think that really counts. Grandma & Grandpa Molaski took him to a friend of theirs that cuts hair at her house. I wasn't sure how still Marcus would sit for her, but he actually did pretty good. He got to watch cartoons during which helped a lot. We can't believe how much older he looks. Our little boy now looks like a little man!

Fun Day

Today we went to the ever popular Possibility Playground in Port Washington. It was our first visit and Marcus had a great time once he got over his fear of the composite decking. (He would only crawl on it at first.) He even got to play with his friends Hank & Radiah. Later that day, we went to the Williamson's for dinner. Marcus had a little ice cream date with Lilyana. It was pretty cute to watch her feed him.

Easter

We went to Mo's parents for Easter. Marcus had a lot of fun with his cousins. This will be the last holiday we spend together where he is the "baby" as we have 3 due in the family this year!

Marcus' latest Kohl's ad

Marcus has been modeling since he was about 9 months. We figured he'd be a good fit since he's so smiley, loves attention, and is pretty cute too. Now that he's mobile, it's a bit more challenging to get him to sit for a photo shoot. Here he is in the latest Kohl's ad.

Playing outside

Like most kids, Marcus just loves being outside. We look forward to the nice weather ahead.
